Mcpeeks Helping Hands was established on November 3, 1978. Charles founder and designer came out in retirement in 2010 to give away what he found in alcoholics anonymous. Charles drank alcohol for 31 years. On November 3rd, Charles will be sober for 44 years. As an alcoholic he faced many troubles, hoping to outrun them he joined the U.S. Army. After 36 weeks of basic training, 5 weeks of jump school and 3 weeks of gorillia warfare hand to hand combat training, he found himself with the 8th ranger company (special forces in Korea). He soon found that the death and distuction he must face only added to the tramatic lifestyle that he had chosen.
McPeeks Helping Hands is a community service charitable orginization designed to prevent/curb addiction and assist those who want to quit and recover from alcoholism and or drug addiction. McPeeks Helping Hands work is anonymous and free. Addiction of any kind is like a mary-go-round. You can get off of addication anytime you want, one step at a time!
